At Tapestry Hospice and Palliative Care, we are honored to serve Veterans and their families. Acknowledging their service and sacrifice is our number one priority. Through respectful inquiry, compassionate listening, and grateful acknowledgment, we serve those who have bravely served us.
Our Veterans Department operates under the guidelines of the “We Honor Veterans” program, a National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) initiative. This program is dedicated to recognizing the unique needs of veterans and ensuring they receive the respect and care they deserve. Our program is overseen by a retired Service Member with more than 25 years of service, bringing invaluable experience and insight to our team.
One in four dying Americans is a Veteran, and we understand that Veterans have a unique culture and set of experiences that must be respected and considered in their care.
Our program benefits from the leadership of a retired Service Member who understands the intricacies of military life and the profound impact of service on Veterans. This leadership ensures that our program is not only compliant with NHPCO guidelines but also deeply rooted in the real-life experiences of those who have served.
We invite all Veterans and their families to explore the resources and support available through our Veterans Program. At Tapestry Hospice and Palliative Care, we are dedicated to providing care that honors and respects the unique contributions of our Veterans.
Thank you for your service, and we are proud to support you and your family.
